Developed as a complementary resource to the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (JAAOSยฎ), โ€œSounds from the Training Roomโ€ is dedicated to furthering the education of young orthopaedic surgeons with insights into residency transitions, medical school success, attending physician involvement, and more.

The JAAOS Mentorship Consortium is comprised of orthopaedic surgeons representing the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), JAAOS, the AAOS Resident Assembly and OrthoMentor, an Instagram channel developed to provide information on a range of issues facing young orthopaedic surgeons today.
